▲ DAN-JUN HO-HEP (Lower abdomen a breath)

  • Arthritis or Joint-Pain (Seniors) – Hypertension malaise – Exercise
  • Obesity, heart attack, constipation, fatty liver, lifestyle, eating habits, Senility/Dementia, ADD/ADHD in children

DIRECTION

  • Dan-Jun is about 1.5 inches below your belly button.
  • If you place your thumb on Dan-Jun and breathe you will know if you are breathing through Dan-Jun.
  • When you inhale, Dan-Jun expands and your thumb moves up; when you exhale, your thumb moves down.
  • High blood pressure breathing style is a short inhale / exhale slowly.
  • Low Blood Pressure breathing style is a long inhale and quick exhale.
  • Concentration on stomach area when breathing; long, deep, thin, smooth breaths focused toward stomach (no noise) through the nose on inhale, through the nose and mouth on exhale.
  • Descended intestine – caution must be used; breathing must be shallow on inhale and exhale.
  • After exercise, whole body massage is necessary to restore Ki氣 (energy) throughout the body.

▲ DO-IN BUP (Tradition stretching a breath)

  • Good for sufferers of osteoarthritis and joint pain; excellent for disease prevention.
  • All major organs which produce carbonic acid gas or contain effete matter (nervous break-downs, gastrointestinal disorders, insomnia), can be regenerated by switching out the bad with good, positive energy.
  • Inhale slowly, turn to the side, exhale slowly, return to front position.
  • Heart-attack survivors and those with high blood pressure must use more shallow breathing techniques and care when turning to the side – do not turn too far and overextend.

▲Yang Seng Dong-Kong (Dynamic Exercise)

  • Strengthens the cartilage between bones and provides relief from senior joint pain, arthritis and osteoporosis.
  • Quick, fast movements are not healthy; long, precise movements that fully stretch the body at a medium tempo are the key to good diet and exercise.
  • Yin body style (Top-Heavy) follows Eum-In program. Yang body style (Bottom-Heavy) follows Yang-In program. Overall-Heavy can follow both styles of program.

▲ Yang Seng Ki-Gong (Static Exercise)

  • Exercising the toes and fingers together also exercises the brain and relieves disorders (dementia, finger and toe joint diseases, hemiplegics, motor skill impairment, and paralysis). * Oo-Zang Yuk-fu (Oo-Zang=Heart, Liver, Spleen, Lung, Kidney / Yuk-fu=Gall Bladder, Stomach, Large Intestine, Small Intestine, Bladder, Sanjiao) and the person’s body system is dependant on how well the Oo-Zang Yuk-fu works. Specifically target these areas in the body by using the natural connection between toe and finger manipulation and specific organs within the body.
  • Fingers are bent from the hand at a 45 degree angle in a measured and precise way while toes are not as precise. It is much more important to focus on the movement in the foot rather than the angle.
  • Those who suffer from dizziness will need to stop and drink warm water or tea before continuing with the exercise.

▲ Yeng Seng Massage

  • Massage breaks down cellulite in the body and stimulates blood circulation within the body. This is excellent for diet.
  • Relieves rheumatism, joint pain, back pain, muscle pain, lower back, and neck pain, and headaches.
  • Reduces high blood pressure, asthmatics, diabetes and ADD/ADHD in children and adults.
  • Anemic, eczema sufferers, hemophiliacs and those with high blood pressure must consult with their doctor and obtain permission before attempting these exercises.
  • Deep tissue massage is necessary and therefore caution must be used.
